Start collecting Pokémon in the UAE

New to Pokémon cards? Here's a simple path from your first pack to a binder you're proud of. No jargon, no pressure.

6 steps

  1. Start small

    Open TCV Mystery Packs (5 + 3 FREE = 10 AED for 8 packs) or a 50-card Bulk Pack (19.99 AED). Every pack is random, so no card is promised: that's the fun of opening.

  2. Learn the card types

    Pokémon, Trainer and Energy are the three kinds of cards. The small symbol in the corner shows the rarity.

  3. Sort your cards

    Sort by set and card number: both are printed at the bottom of each card. A box with a few dividers is all you need to begin.

  4. Protect your favourites

    Put special cards in a soft sleeve, then a toploader or a binder page, away from sun and damp. (TCV doesn't sell accessories; any card shop's will do.)

  5. Check card prices

    Look any card up in AED on Card prices, and track yours in My collection, saved on your own phone.

  6. Keep going

    Build a deck with Energy (9.99 AED) and Trainer (14.99 AED) packs, try TCG Pocket codes (5 AED), and follow new sets on the release calendar.
